25 Days of Handmade Christmas: Day 13 Ornament Wreath

Hi lovelies!
I'm so excited to be Kelsey's guest today!!
I'm Kara and I blog over at Happy Go Lucky.  I thought it would be fun to share my latest Christmas wreath with you.

I fell in love with this Pottery Barn Wreath as soon as I opened the catalog so I knew I had to make one for my front door.

I really wanted a real wreath this year because I love the way they smell.  And then as soon as I found the fir wreath at Home Depot for $14.99, I new I definitely had to make it.   I only needed three packs of ornaments that I purchased at The Dollar Store, so my wreath cost me less than $20.  Much better than $39.

This is a quick and easy project and you could always use an artificial wreath that is probably cheaper than a real one.

Step 1:  Glue ornament tops to ornaments with a glue gun so they don't fall off when you attach them to the wreath
Step 2:  Use floral wire to attach ornaments to wreath
Step 3:  Hang and Admire!

Super easy and gorgeous!!  And the best part, it smells so good when you walk in the door!
 I hope you like it.

Thanks Kelsey for having me as your guest today.

  1. You always have such wonderful projects! I love reading your blog. I wanted to invite you to come link up at a party on my blog. It is a link party for OLD projects--so that we can hopefully get more traffic to our blogs using projects we've already posted. Come over and remind us of some of your favorite projects!
    The link-up is live now.
