New Everything!

One thing I'm majorly lacking in is the ability to do web design. I'm SO thrilled to have Allison from Crafted Love helping me to design my blog. We're in the early stages of planning but I just know that whatever she comes up with will be amazing! In the meantime, check out her site. It's full of crafts and travel (what more could you want?!). PLUS she's from Ohio.

In addition to changing the look, I'll be changing the name of my blog. When I first thought of DIY or Buy, I loved the idea and immediately created my blog without sitting on the name for a while. Now, big surprise, I don't like it {I am arguably one of the most indecisive people you will every meet}. It's a pain to go through a name change the more established you become, so I figure now is the best time. The name I've been sitting on for a while is embrace messy. I'm not sure that I own a pair of jeans without paint on them, my iPhone has paint on it, and if glue is involved, you'd better believe it's going to be everywhere. Although messy, all of these things mean that I'm being creative so I embrace the messyness. While working with Allison on the design, she suggested embracing messy, which I like the sound of a little bit more. So in addition to the new look, you'll also be seeing a different name.

While most of my posts will be tutorial based, I want to incorporate my two other passions: traveling and checking off items from my bucket list. I know the whole bucket list idea is cliche, but I absoultely love it. My posts that focus on these will hopefully inspire you to create your own list, create your own vacations, and embrace the messyness in you life.

Let me know what you think as the changes come about! I love hearing from all of you!
